Welcome to our website! As we have the ability to list over one million items on our website (our selection changes all of the time), it is not feasible for a company our size to record and playback the descriptions on every item on our website. However, if you have a disability we are here to help you. Please call our disability services phone line at (541) 484-1962 during regular business hours and one of our kind and friendly personal shoppers will help you navigate through our website, help conduct advanced searches, help you choose the item you are looking for with the specifications you are seeking, read you the specifications of any item and consult with you about the products themselves. There is no charge for the help of this personal shopper for anyone with a disability. Finally, your personal shopper will explain our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and help you place an order if you so desire.
We consider it a privilege to have been welcomed into your homes and businesses over the past forty years. We understand that our success is closely tied to yours, our wonderful customers, and to the wellbeing of our community. Our hearts are filled with gratitude, and it is in that spirit that we give back in every way we can.
Our love for all animals, big and small, runs deep. Our rescue efforts began with a call for help from a customer in California, who opened our eyes to the problem of pet overpopulation, animal abuse, neglect, and abandonment. Through our transports, which we operate out of our store, we have saved over 11,000 dogs to date from being euthanized in high kill shelters by carrying them to the safety of our rescue network. Our goal is to save as many dogs as we can, regardless of age, size, or breed. We are ready at a moment’s notice to cross state lines to rescue dogs who may otherwise have only hours to live. We are committed to providing the most efficient, safe, and caring transport possible. We are dedicated to working with a responsible network of agencies that share the same core values and passions. Every decision is made in the best interest of the animals rescued, and serves as a first step to a new and wonderful life.
In addition to our dog rescue, we operate a pet food bank from our store warehouse. We work with several pet food suppliers to secure donated food for animals in our community. Over 1 million pounds of food has been distributed to those who need it the most, including food banks, shelters, rescue agencies, churches, and the homeless.
Here at Edgewater Home Furnishings, we understand that the future begins with our children. We are dedicated to ensuring the welfare of kids in our community. With this in mind, we work with several organizations that are committed to protecting children and helping them secure a bright and promising future.
Over the years, one organization in particular, C.A.S.A. of Lane County, has become very near and dear to our hearts. C.A.S.A. strives to help protect the welfare of children in the foster system by designating advocates who serve the best interest of these children. C.A.S.A. volunteers work with each child on an individual basis, acting as their voices in the courtroom and ensuring collaboration from all involved parties. C.A.S.A.’s team of dedicated advocates works tirelessly to do everything necessary to find them safe places to call home.
We have had many opportunities to work with other wonderful organizations in the community, as well. Recently, we have donated furniture and furnishings to groups like Kids First, A Family for Every Child, and Cascade Health Solutions for their Festival of Trees auction. We contribute furnishings for Cornerstone Community Housing, an organization that provides apartments for homeless pregnant women. And we participate annually in the Rotary Duck Race and the Great Rotary Raffle to raise funds for community-based prevention and intervention programs.
We consider it a great honor to serve our community, and we are grateful for the many opportunities to do our part to improve lives. Thank you!
"Without a sense of caring, there can be no sense of community." -Anthony J. D'Angelo
